How we can help

Whether it’s back or neck pain, a hamstring strain, broken bone or a stiff and sore knee, our therapists can tailor a treatment session to restore you to optimal health; and get you back to living life to the fullest sooner.

Some of the treatments we offer as part of our physiotherapy services:

  • Sports Injuries: Fast effective treatments to get you back in the game
  • Women’s Health: pre and post-natal assessment & treatment
  • Fracture management: including x-rays & casting
  • Surgical Rehabilitation
  • Custom Orthotics
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Radial shock-wave therapy

With three convenient locations: Coffs Harbour, Sawtell and Toormina, you can easily get an appointment to suit you, without the need for a referral for private patients.

Experiencing neck, back, knee or foot pain? Did you know the key to your pain could be right under your toes? Correct foot alignment and biomechanics are vital in ensuring optimal joint and body position.

Here at Hoys we use the most technologically advanced gait analysis system currently available. The Gaitscan™ analysis system is a revolutionary diagnostic tool used for assessing foot biomechanics.

With just a few simple steps over the sensor plate, a comprehensive assessment of your foot mechanics can be performed. With this data, our physiotherapists, along with professional orthotic designers, can create the ideal orthotic for you.

No referrals are required for private patients. Book today.

A suitable rehabilitation program for patients who have undergone a surgical procedure is essential to ensure a return to full pain-free function.

The Hoys team have close ties with many of the orthopaedic and general surgeons located both in Coffs Harbour and greater NSW. With the ever-improving advancements in surgical techniques and procedures, patients are now returning to normal activities at a much faster rate, which is great news.

To ensure a smooth transition after surgery, our Physiotherapists can provide you with the necessary treatment and devise the most effective rehabilitation program to meet your needs and goals, to get you back to your normal lifestyle sooner.

No referral is needed for private patients.

Research has demonstrated that approximately 80% of the population will experience back pain at some point in their lives, with 50% of these recurring within 12 months.

Every patient who presents with back pain displays different symptoms, therefore the treatment provided is very patient specific and isn’t a case of one size fits all.

You can be assured that our team of highly-qualified Physiotherapists will develop an individualised plan to reduce pain and improve recovery, getting you back to living your life to the fullest.

Broken bones, or fractures, are serious injuries that can leave an individual with a serious loss in function. Depending on the type and location of the fracture, the individual may require surgery to restore normal bone alignment, a cast to allow the bone to heal or a simple sling to support the injured limb.

No matter what the initial treatment, a proper rehabilitation program following a fracture is imperative.

Our physiotherapists are qualified at both applying and removing plasters, as well as post-fracture rehabilitation to restore pre-injury function as fast as possible.

Sporting injuries are unfortunately an all too common part of many sports people’s lives. Here at Hoys we are just as determined as you are in getting you back on the sports field, or back running, as fast as possible.

We are closely associated with many of the local sporting clubs across the Coffs Coast. Not only do we provide valuable sponsorship partnerships to some of these clubs, but we are also approved to treat players under sports insurance claims.
