Ellissa Enersen
Occupational Therapist
Ellissa graduated from Southern Cross University at the Coffs Harbour Campus with a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2022.
She has gained experience in aged care, acute rehab and paediatric settings through her placements and casual roles as an Allied Health Assistant held during her studies. Ellissa is interested in paediatric and aged care caseloads and is passionate about helping these individuals gain or regain the ability to complete everyday occupations meaningful to them and their families.
Ellissa moved to the Coffs Harbour area during her later years of primary school and enjoys walking the headlands and beaches, socialising with friends over coffee or a meal out and spending time with family and her two dogs, Lilly and Murphy.
What sports did you participate in growing up? Dance, particularly Ballet was a sport really enjoyed growing up.
What was your first job? I worked in pharmacy as a pharmacy assistant/ dispensary technician after I finished high school and while I studied my degree at university.
Finish the sentence. On Sunday mornings you can usually find me? Sleeping in, morning coffee followed by a beach or headland walk.
Where is your favourite place you have holidayed? Cairns, Airlie beach or Fiji…Hard to choose one!
