Cassie Stevens
Occupational Therapist
I completed my studies at Southern Cross University in 2025, graduating with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Throughout my placements, I gained experience across a variety of settings including schools, aged care facilities, and NDIS services.
As an early career occupational therapist, I am eager to continue developing and expanding my clinical skills while working with adult caseloads across the NDIS and Aged Care space.
My professional background spans seven years within the healthcare and disability sectors, including roles in residential aged care and NDIS environments. I have supported individuals with mild to complex care needs to build capacity, increase independence, and safely access the community. I am passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their goals and maintain independence in meaningful daily activities.
What sports did you participate in growing up?
I enjoyed playing a variety of sports including hockey, cricket, and soccer, with soccer becoming my true passion. I continue to play in both summer and winter competitions and love getting out on the field.
What’s the most memorable wildlife encounter you’ve had while traveling?
Seeing 4 (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo) out of the Big 5 whilst on a safari in South Africa.
What do you do in your spare time?
Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with family, heading to the beach, staying active at the gym, or planning my next holiday adventure.
