Emily Walmsley
Occupational Therapist
Emily accepted a New Graduate role as an Occupational Therapist with Hoys in 2022. Emily grew up in a rural Northern NSW town and due to this is committed to ensuring a high level of services are maintained and accessible in rural communities. Emily is also passionate about facilitating independence and engagement in meaningful activities across the lifespan.
Currently Emily conducts NDIS services including functional capacity assessments, minor home modifications, assistive technology assessments and sensory profile assessments. Emily is also available for My Aged Care Assessments. Emily has a keen interest in pediatrics and is hoping to broaden her horizons in this area.
What above the future excites you most? Travelling the world and exploring where a career as an Occupational Therapist will take me.
Would you rather spend a week in a big city or a week in the outback? Probably a week in the big city - I enjoy the buzz of people and the shopping!
